Greetings from NY. I've been a shooter since I was a kid, but it was always a rifle in my hands. Within the past couple of years I got into pistols and after alot of research I decided on Glock 22. When I got to my local gunshop the guy handed me a Glock 22c and told me it was his last one and that he would give me a deal. So a G22c was my first pistol ever and it was all I figured I would need. Well, eventually I bought a Lone Wolf 9mm barrel for my 22c and then I wanted something a bit smaller that still packed a punch so I bought a G30 and fell in love all over again. I was trying to talk my wife into buying a G26, but she's partial to revolvers so I might end up with a 26 for myself, but then again I've really been wanting a G19.
Anyway, I really appreciate my Glocks for not only their reliability, but their simplicity, price, and options. I honestly don't know if I'll ever own another type of pistol other than a Glock. I'm looking forward to learning here. I was always into knives as well and I belong to a few knife forums under the same name, Tony8179. Thanks for having me.![]()

Welcome to the forum. Glad you like the GLOCK so much but don't sell yourself short on not owning other brands. There are plenty great firearms out there. I just own more GLOCKS than the other brands.![]()

It's amazing how Glocks seem to multiply.... Like Lay's potato chips... you can't have just one!

I hear you. I've shot other pistols. My father is a big fan of 1911's and we have a constant back and forth about our choice of pistols. So I've had my hand wrapped around quite a few 1911's. I also have a few friends that are shooters so I'm not at a loss when it comes to handling and using other firearms. It's just that nothing feels like a Glock in my hand and nothing feels better than a Glock in my hand. I secretly covet a 1911 and a .357 revolver.

I made the mistake of handling one of the new FNS-9 the other day. I'm trying not to buy it now.... I don't want to have to order a holster, shoot it thousands of times, etc...![]()
