    Hello from Illinois


    Hi guys and gals,

    I'm Chris. I'm a father of three rambunctious boys, a USAF veteran, and a dedicated family man. Currently I work as a Refrigeration Technician for a Thermoking dealership in Chicago.

    I've been shooting for nearly 20 years. I started when I was in the USAF and have developed a love for the sport ever since. A few years ago I was forced to sell off my entire collection of guns because I was out of work and had to pay for the roof over my kids head and I had to feed the little buggers. Worry not, I'm employed and back on track. The first gun I bought was a Ruger single six. My son and I plinked with it for about 6 months while I saved up for a G22. The day came to go buy the G22 and the guy I deal with at the LGS points me to the used case. Apparently one of the regulars who shoots production bought a few guns to test and see what he wanted to run this upcoming year. He didn't decide on a G31 so traded it in on something or other. The gun had 50 rounds through it and they only wanted $400 for it. Trijicon sights, Extended mag release, and extended slide stop... SOLD! I ordered a G22 barrel for it (which is on galactic backorder through Glock) and will be running it as a G22 when my barrel gets here.

    Recently I became a NRA Range Safety Officer. I plan on working at a range in my area this year and assisting in some competitions. I also plan on competing in the Glock shoot they have and the Springfield shoot as I just got a new 1911. I've never done a competitive shoot and wanna go out and have some fun.
