Welcome to the forum, hope you enjoy the 26
Welcome to the Glock.pro forums...
Sounds like you had a fun first day at the range... Enjoy your 26...
Don't forget to practice with your 26 like you plan to carry it... You'll get used to the shorter grip if you practice with it...

Thanks again for all the congrats.
Yeah, it was a great first day. I had since been back to have a Crimson Trace LG-436 installed, but haven't shot it yet. I'm hoping to go today and practice.Originally Posted by __jb

So... I managed to put another 100+ rounds in at the range today. I find it soo much easier to sight with the laser, than the actual sights. What's the correct way to learn? Should I be using the laser at this point, or should I practice with the normal sights and put about 1000 rounds through it? I can manage 3" groups at 15 feet with the sights, and roughly 2.5" groups with the laser... no rapid fire or bursts, of course. I tend to shoot to the right a lil more with the sights also.
What are you going to do if you only learn to use the laser when the battery runs out and you have to use the firearm to save your life? Lasers should be used as a tool in the toolbox, not as an end all to be all method to shoot your firearm.

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the Gen 4 26.

Point well taken... and Understood.
The main point of the laser is for me to see when my contacts are out of my eyes and I don't have my glasses on - which is when I'm in bed to sleep. Astigmatism and -3.75 in each eye, but I see like an eagle with my lenses in
BTW - absolutely Loving the 26!!! First cleaning with roughly 500 rounds through with no issues.
