Good God, that was crazy.. My GS is a traditional spin dial, zero 'lectronics... NOW I know why I went that route.

I went that way, good old fashioned dial, in case of an EMP. If my ready safe in the bedroom gets fried it also takes a key.
This is definitely food for thought.

    Please be safe

Well except for the prybar ... they'd probably steel the first three of your items ... and then hock 'em. Would be much easier than trying to break into a safe. Ya' think?

Any safe is penetrable eventually. Even Fort Knox, if given the tools and the time can be breached. Our personal safes are designed to give as much security as we think we need. It generally means putting up enough of a barrier that a thief doesn't want to risk spending the time to get in. Most thieves want in and out in a matter of minutes to avoid detection or apprehension. So while a plasma cutter will probably get any thief into any home safe, most thieves won't take the time to move the tools into the location of the safe and take the time to open it. If they have that kind of time and access, they will definitely be able to get your guns. We are just trying to make it hard enough they don't want to try it.
