.300 Blackout pistol for home defense!!

Building .300 Blackout pistol for home defense. Will only shoot suppressed. If I have to shoot a villain indoors, don't want to burst my eardrums in the process.

Good choice. A little to pricey for me.

I opted for a AR15 pistol, also. Two in 5.56 mm and one in 300 AAC. Haven't done the suppressor route, yet. I have hearing protection next to each gun for HD.

Going to be using Maker super-expanding, 200 gr bullets. Doubt that they'll penetrate through and through.

Like CDR_Glock, I built a 7.5" 5.56 pistol. Wanted to do a .300 but did not want to add a different caliber into the mix. I have one left to built and it will be a 10.5" pistol. May do a 12" pistol after that. That will give me a nice range 7.5, 10.5, 12, (3)16's, (2)18's, 24. They are all 5.56 but none of them are suppressed.

300 AAC can be finicky with subsonic ammo if you don't have a suppressor, by the way. I just had a pretty fruitless range visit with mine. It wouldn't cycle the subsonic. I will try to supersonic and hopefully get a suppressor...
