Add: I also believe it is wise to keep our guard up. After all, Putin is a left-over from the Soviet era. He wants Russia to have a empire that it once did. This is illustrated by their military annexation of Crimea, Georgia and the like. The Europeans are angry over this and are using NATO as a tool as well as economic sanctions to punish Russia. They will never be a huge empire as they were before. This cannot be allowed. Putin is a dictator.
I think Putin was VERY wrong for allowing Iran to be a broker in Syrian cease fire. This only serves to spread Iranian influence. They wish us dead as well as Israel dead. Obama gave them the keys to nukes too.
Trump must proceed cautiously in the coming weeks, months and years. The world is much more dangerous than it was 8-10 years ago.

I can't help but think that if this was Obama just running for reelection and something like this situation came up he would have loss big time trust me on that one, and Mr. bradberry you and I do agree on the point of no one will really know what happened and that is most unfortunate because I cherished our liberties and I am afraid that this has tainted what should have been an fair routine general election, though my guy gov Kasich did not become president and Trump did as an American my attitude has always been "oh well the best guy won and deserves our support" and if you want me to believe in the Clinton email scandal and whatever happened with Bernie sanders and look at that objectively then surely you will not fault me from looking at the situation with how president elect trump is reacting with our intelligence network on this Russian problem objectively , keep in mind that the current president has put sanctions against Putin based on the intelligence briefings that Mr. Trump is getting as well and even senator McCain and the house speaker have voiced that he didn't go far enough and they are planning on doing even more. Mr. Trump is our president, he won the election but senator McCain and several others I hold in high regard and if they are suspicious of some mischief by Russian Vladimir putin then I continue to trust their instincts. Remember time will reveal
Repeating a post on another thread .
our current government couldn't figure out who, how, when, where, nor what was going on with Hillary Clinton's emails that she leaked to foreign rogue governments, but now these same officials can positively say the Russian government leaked the proof of corruption about the democrat party?
so we are to look the other way or just blame our intelligence agencies for being stupid huh, I believe senator McCain that they hacked our election system for whatever reason however I am still dismayed on why the president elect is so protective of Vladimir Putin.
For the last few years it seems our intelligence agencies ( the leaders , not the rank and file) are more into politics rather than intelligence.
After all , some of them did lie to congress and they knew about Hillary's server spilling secrets and how corrupt the DNC was but did nothing.
Most of the heads of the I.S. agencies seem have been given their jobs based on politics and nothing else.
I firmly believe Trump will base his appointments on the best for the job regardless of politics.
Being an independent I voted for gov. Kasich that being said I really don't see the dnc being anymore corrupt then the rnc both have done many terrible things in order to preserve their power on capital hill and as far as heads of these different departments well most if not all are selected depending on party affiliation and who you know not necessarily on what you know unfortunately, right now just as with Clinton and her emails I am also skeptical about trump and this Russian connection. As far as his appointments to head up these different departments so far all I have seen is one multi millionaire or even billionaire after another getting the positions (Putting your friends in high positions is the norm) and some of these people have never worked in any government position so on that point he is no different then any other president I remain very skeptical and very suspicious for right now.
