    Price of S&W Model 66


    Hey, I was looking into buying a S&W Model 66 Revolver from a private seller. Anyone know what they go for? I have a pic if it would help. Its a 2.5in barrel.
    can anyone tell me a little bit about it, and of course a fair price. Looks excellent condition. Thanks in advance.

    Really depends on caliber (if applicable) and condition. What generation is it? (66-?) Is it a .357 Magnum? I'm not an expert, but I do like S&W revolvers. An early S&W 66 NIB with all paperwork, correct box, grips and tools is worth @$800 in my area, a shooter grade in excellent condition, more like $550-$600. If it has condition issues, $400-$450 or less depending.

    In the metro Atlanta area, $450.00+ depending on barrel length and box/accessories.

    I lucked out, paid less than $500.00 for this pair of #66-2's less than a year ago.


    I put a set of combat stocks on the four inch gun and gave it to our son for his birthday back in November.
