I will support the advise that Chris and Ed have already given. The cases look acceptable to me. I wouldn't be overly concerned with them at this point. I do think a little more crimp will be in order and pay a little more attention to COL. It isn't uncommon to have to "tweak" a new load.

Just to come in here to say you have been getting some great advice. God I love this forum in the way that so many want to help with problems. After looking at the second set of pics I do agree on needing more crimp. I shoot Raniers all the time and they are always right on with the sizing, I have never experienced a problem. Yes you do have a way to progress with that particular formula you are using. I can offer you this small piece of information, the crimp on Raniers will be easier to notice than it is on FMJ projectiles. My advice would be proceed with the crimp slowly until you see that the Ranier bullet is deforming SLIGHTLY and stop there. That should give you a good crimp and better performance as well. That's hard to tell from a pic... Try this, back off 1/4 turn on your die from where this one was crimped and load (5) rounds, mark them and set aside. Increase in 1/4 turn increments until you have (4) separate "examples". Take them to the range, and try them noting accuracy and case condition.

It's good to be cautious, but unfortunately we cannot give you our "experience' or our "feel" for things as subjective as crimp. Here's a "visual" to try to help... In my opinion, the photo shows from not enough to too much, but I've shot rounds "like" all of these with no problem as long as the charge was correct.

+1, another great example of a picture being worth a thousand words. And a GOOD picture at that!
