    Rob, on the ************** my "Geek Squad" guy set it up so that when someone new signs up it checks their IP, email, and user name against a database of known spammers. When we upgraded the forum software and moved to a new server we were being hit daily with new sign ups that were spammers. So I turned on Admin activation and I was manually checking them against the data on StopForumSpam.com until he got it setup. Was/still is fun watching them try to register an account and then seeing them disappear.

    Many of these spammers will register and sit dormant for sometime before they actually start to do their garbage. Others start right from the get go.
    you deleted my avatar and sigline, put my forum name in the word filter, what next? delete my pics?

    sounds good to me... no one should really need to do either of those before 5 posts anyways... Does that include pics? They may try and go that route as well.
