    Thread Subscription?


    I've tried searching and found nothing. There are a couple of threads that I have subscribed to (with instant email notification), but I never receive any notice after there have been new posts. Is there a setting somewhere that I'm missing?

    I looked for a more appropriate place to pose this question, but here it is. If a mod needs to move it somewhere else, please do so.

    There is a general setting that covers subscription emails in your profile... Click "Settings" in the top menu bar... then click "General Settings" on the left hand side of the page...

    See what "Default Thread Subscription Mode:" is set to... If you want instant email notification... Make sure that's the option that you pick... Then click "Save" and you should be good to go...

    If that doesn't do the trick, you might want to make sure the emails from the forum aren't getting blocked by your email provider or software... Maybe some kind of Spam filter...

    The subscription mode is set for "instantly, using email". I added check marks for receiving email from admins and users, didn't know if it would have any impact, but I'll find out.

    I don't actually use that option, so I don't know whether it works or not... Maybe some one else that uses it will pop us and let us know...

    I think I got it. I believe it was being blocked by the provider, just like you thought. Thanks again.
