    Mpro7 Cleaner Review

I started out using good old Hoppe's bore cleaner. Well, now I have to clean my weapons inside so I needed something with low odor. I also wanted something that isn't so harsh on my skin. I bought some Grizzly cleaner and have been using it for the last year. It works very good and has a pleasant citrus scent, but it just wasn't the easiest to get into the small spaces. I decided I needed a spray, so I did entirely too much online research and determined that there were a few "top contenders" for what I was looking for. Well, I decided to give Mpro7 a try...wow am I glad I did!!! It is very convenient being a spray, it has practically no odor at all to me (my wife approved too), and works like magic! I highly recommend Mpro7 Cleaner!

    Good report!

Currently using Weapon Shield Solvent... Works well, but does have an odor to it... so I use it in the garage.

Have never tried Mpro7... Is it an aerosol spray or a plunger?

It's a pump spray. It's my first spray cleaner, and I love it.

I have been using MPro7 for cleaning for a long time. Cuts right through the carbon and grime.

I like using foaming bore cleaner - fill the barrel and set it aside until I'm done with the rest of the gun. I've been using the MPro7 for a couple of years now (same bottle, lasts forever). I have to say I'm kinda "ehh" about the product. I really liked the MPro7 oil so I had high hopes. The cleaner I had been using before seemed to work better but it's been so long I don't remember what brand that was. Don't take me wrong, it works well enough that I've not bothered switching but I don't think the foaming bore cleaner is their best product.

Nevermind! I just looked up MPro7 Foaming Bore cleaner and it's been discontinued Maybe they felt the same way about it.

Whenever this bottle finally runs out I think I will try the Otis unless someone has a better suggestion.

I've gone back to Hoppe's #9... It seems to be the best cleaner available if you can deal with the smell and wash your hands after you finish using it...

I've been using Hoppe's 9 foaming bore cleaner and works fine for me.

Odor Free Mineral Spirits works for me when I want to soak parts, otherwise, like hoppes #9

Hello all, I'm here to engage in polite and respectful conversation. Just left a very nasty forum where they like to TALK about GLOCK.

    Mpro7 Cleaner Review

I want to come back around to the Mpro7 lubricant I had been using.

I felt the Mpro7 captured more dirt than I wanted but it cleaned up easy and I clean regularly so I wasnít too worried about it. I did notice that it seemed to separate a little if it sat and needed to be shaken just a bit before use. These things kept me looking for something else but not with much motivation cause Glocks donít really care.

Iíve been using some other oils for a few months (Iíve lost track of time). Today, I picked up a small clear applicator bottle that had Mpro7 in it and noticed that not only was there some separation there was some gunk on the inside of the bottle. I emptied the bottle and tried to rinse it out then let it sit with Dawn detergent in it for a few hours. I ended up having to clean it out with a q-tip.

Needless to say, the rest of the Mpro7 went in the trash.

Iíve been using Lucas Extreme Gun Oil for the last few cleanings. So far Iím happy with it and will be refilling the applicator bottle with it as soon as it dries.
