Ameriglo night sight comparison Glock 19

As promised, here is a comparison between the regular I-dots and the Pro I-Dots. After having both on my Glock 19, I have an opinion which one is better overall...this is just my opinion, your mileage may varry. My goal was to find a good combination of speed and accuracy for my off duty Glock 19. I've been researching, shooting handguns equipped with different sights and taking notes along the way. I won't bore you with the details but I initially narrowed down my sights to:
    1. Glock factory night sights: I was use to them because of the job, so out of familiarity I included a three dot system.
    2. XS 24/7 big dots
    3. Ameriglo standard I-Dot
    4. Ameriglo Pro I-dots
I eliminated the three dot system because I suspected a 2 dot setup would be faster. I also wanted to try something new, so number 1 was out. I was strongly considering the XS sights. They were designed for speed. I did understand that there would be the possibility of sacrificing some accuracy due to the size of the front sight. I felt it was something I could live with. That changed quickly when I spent the afternoon shooting a friend's Glock 23 that had the big dots. Up close, they were very fast. Once I started to move back, I found, for my preference-too much of the target was obscured by the front sight. So I decided to take a chance and buy the standard I-Dots. I felt that having the smaller sight would be better for an accurate shot at distance, while still being able to acquire a fast sight picture.
After installing them, and spending some range time, I was getting a pretty good feel for them. They were very accurate and pretty fast. Finally, I asked myself: what can make them better? The answer: a slightly larger front sight. I then ordered a pro front sight (the rear is identical for the standard and the pro). The pro model is slightly larger to accommodate a colored ring. In day light conditions, for my eyes, they are incredibly fast but still have enough space to make them accurate as well.
That was my little journey to find new sights for my Glock 19. I'll try to post some picture showing the difference between the standard and pro.

Thank you. I've been trying to learn which site I need.

I think I would spend far to much time looking for the laser dot at any distance (if I went w/laser sight). Close up, I don't need it.

I don't believe there's been any mention of a laser in this thread, has there? Maybe I skimmed over the original post too fast??
