    Dryfire training magazine

Have anyone heard about the dryfire practice magazine for about $ 100 bucks?
I have seen some videos on YouTube for Glock pistols G19 and 17 according to the website this specially designed magazine once inserted eliminates the need to reset the trigger by racking the slide after every trigger pull, I've been interested in this product but don't know if it is safe or good for my Glock, has tried this product and if so what's your take on it?

I use the Dryfiremag. It works brilliantly. Makes dry fire practice much more realistic.

Never heard of it but it's very intriguing. Can it be used with snap caps?

There is a thread on this site that uses a clip inserted in the slide that does the same thing. I believe it's less than 100 bucks. That just seems a bit much to me.

    Snap caps are not needed.

I use it with a Laserlyte barrel for dry fire with the laser.

I prefer wet firing. I'd spend that $100 on five real mags.

thewitt, have you had any problems with your glock on the range after having used the dry fire mag? reason why I asked is that I was somewhat concerned about the internal moving parts of my glock ie trigger bars, firing pins, springs etc.

No issues whatsoever. I use it every night I'm home for about 15 minutes - so that's 10 times a month. It works flawlessly.

Thanks thewitt, I have purchase the dryfire mag and it works better than I thought, I had to break up my practice sessions into two groups but that is even better now, with the drymag I practice grip, sight alignment focus and follow through, and the other days I practice on my grip, tactical load, tap rack malfunctions etc. I think that the dryfire mag will pay for itself in no time flat

Glad it's working for you. It made a huge difference for me. I added the Laserlyte g19 laser barrel and love the combination.
