On their web site AA says they work w/Poly frame. Sorry, my information was incorrect. It was not AA website but an AA retailer selling both items to customers. I find it interesting that we have numerous Glock folks using the poly frame/AA slide/barrel with good results.

Copied this from AA’s FAQ section at 10:54 pm:

Will your kit work on my Polymer 80% or aftermarket frame?
No, The Advantage Arms conversion kit for the Glock pistol is designed to fit and function on factory stock Glock receivers. Our kits were not designed for, nor do we indorse, using them on the Polymer 80% or any other aftermarket receiver.

I’m confused. Where on AA’s website do they say or endorse their conversion kit working on a Polymer 80 frame?
I think the closer your build mimics a Gen 3 Glock 19 in my case, the better chance it has of working.
I’ve heard about some real hack jobs by individuals with the Polymer 80 frame that using std Glock parts it doesn’t function all the time.
I think AA is covering themselves in this situation given the potential build differences.

I’ve had my AA conversion kit since 1/17/19 and have been successfully using it with my Polymer 80/19 clone PF940Cv1.
Have over 1300 rnds thru the AA conversion kit & a total of 2700+ rnds thru the Polymer 80/PF940Cv1 frame. I use the AA kit with the PF940Cv1 frame to shoot steel matches & the
Polymer 80/PF940Cv1 frame with an optic cut slide for USPSA.
Getting back to the AA kit, it is ammo picky as many have mentioned before & like all Glock’s with respect to limp wristing.
The closer your Polymer 80/PF940Cv1 build mimics a Glock 19 the more chance you have of it working.
    Good luck!

    works for me

I put the 4.5" AA 17/22 on my P80 PF940V2. It was "sticky" at first, so I lubed the rails and racked it 100+ times. There is still resistance to return to battery, as noticed if I ride the slide up slowly. But if I let the slide fly (like you're supposed to) it overcomes the resistance and returns fully.

The sights were properly zeroed out of the box. Out of our first 200 rounds, I had a few failures to feed where the case got bent on the way in. I had one failure to extract. My 13 year old daughter had MANY light strikes. I suspect these were because the slide was 1mm-3mm out of battery. And I suspect that was because she limp-wrists the gun. When I fire it, it cycles just fine.

I can put a whole magazine on target as fast as Jerry Miculek (almost). And it costs me about $0.40 per magazine. That's fun!

I really hope it becomes less sensitive to lip-wrist once it's worn in. I bought this slide primarily for my kids. I want them to train "tactical", with a striker-fired pistol and full size magazines. In the meantime, my daughter is getting very proficient with her tap-rack drills.
