Clueless about what glock generations are interchangeable.

    Hello everyone,
Forgive me if this is posted in the wrong place or if this question has been asked a thousand times lol,I am new here.
However I am new to the glock brand I recently just bought 2 glock Oem lowers gen 3 G26/G43.
Ok so can I pair a gen 4 G26 slide to my gen 3 G26 lower? Safely? Also what about G19 slide I’ve read a bit about the legend ‘1926’ but not sure if it was true.
Any/all help or advice is much appreciated thanks.

The slide is the same on the Gen3 and 4 26 - that is only true of the subcompacts which used the dual spring RSA starting with Gen3s.

The G19 slide can be put on a 26 frame - not something I think is a great idea, but it's not my hands holding onto it.

G19 barrels swap. So do extended G19 Lone Wolf barrels!

Go to Glock’s downloadable material and get the Order Form for Certified Armorers https://us.glock.com/-/media/global/...1820.pdf?la=en

You won’t be able to order from it unless your shipping address is on file with Glock from passing the Armorer’s class.

However, it lists every part and what gun it works in. Check the parts you need to finish your slide- if they’re listed for both G19 and 26, good to go. If different parts for each model then you need the part listed for the 26.

    G26 parts shouldn’t cost more than a G19.
