    Fixed sights?

    Hi there from Canada , I jus got my first Glock, its the Canadian edition 19 and it has fixed sights on it, is there a way to change these sights to some Ameriglo or am I stuck to these factory sights? or does "Fixed" sights jus mean you cant adjust them for wind/distances?

    Thank you,

    Normally fixed sights just means that they are not adjustable... Can't imagine that a Glock built for Canada would be any different... Get yourself a Glock sight pusher or a brass punch and a hammer and put on whatever sights you want.

    Agree with jb, you should be able to put any other sight (made for that model) on the pistol;

    An FYI for those on our side of the border :

    A barrel length of 106 mm is critical because Canadian firearm laws make it a crime for almost everyone to have a barrel of 105 mm or less

    You'll also want to get a Front sight tool as well. The screw head that holds the front sight on is very thin and most sockets are too rounded on the end to grab it. They're not very expensive. I have an MGW sight tool for Glocks. Easy to use, I like it. I don't have the 'pro' model. I don't think the extra cost is worth for the diy'er.
