    Difference in Gen 3 .45

Hello, having issues finding correct holster for my Glock. There are 3 variations S,SF or slim. Any help in figuring out would be a great help. On the slide only has the serial number with no other markings if this helps?

Got pictures? Need to identify the model.

Doesn’t look like you have enough posts yet to be able to post pictures. You could put them on a free sharing site like postimages.org

The other side like this :

Josey Wales: When I get to likin' someone, they ain't around long.
Lone Watie: I notice when you get to DISlikin' someone they ain't around for long neither.

That number, between the Glock logo and “Austria” is the model number. In this case it’s a Glock 30.

Most holsters are made for the model. Some holsters are designed to be more generic and cover a wider range of holsters but it’s impossible to recommend a quality holster without knowing what gun you own.

I feel like I have to add, owning/carrying/using a gun is serious business. You have to know what equipment you own. I happy to help but you have to take knowing your equipment serious.

You are confusing the Generation with the frame designation.

Parts and accessories are determined by the model of the weapon not the frame description, some accessories, such as holsters will have more detailed description, such as a Model 21 Gen3 SF.

Holsters also come in different styles for different carry locations, IWB, OWB, SOB, etc.

Please tell us you have fired the weapon (practice) and know how it feels when the trigger is pulled before you start carrying one ....
