    It looks like instead of cutting a slot it was more like a plunge cut which would be ok to hog out material then a clean up pass to make sure it's smooth.

    I avoid coatings of any kind as they can affect tolerances in the gun... Having said that, I'm a competitive shooter and probably harder on my guns than most of you... Little scratches and imperfections don't bother me.

    Oh youíre way more harder on your guns than I am. I go shooting maybe once every other month as I live in Los Angeles and itís 1, really expensive to go shooting and to not the easiest thing in the world as just going to the supermarket takes 45 minutes each way with traffic and itís only about a mile and a half away... I hate LA LOL. I really wish I didnít get the front serrations it was an impulse buy and getting it titanium nit was because I purchased the firearm and there was a little scratch from the included barrel brush loose in the case and me being me I canít leave good enough alone. Anyway thanks for taking the time to give me your take on it.
