    Problems with Glock Cycling

    Hi All,

I'm a new gun user and new Glock owner (G19). I've had some issues with the gun not cycling properly. I've had this issue mid-magazine which I've read can be an issue of not holding the gun steady enough. However, I've also had issue with the trigger not activating immediately after loading a magazine. I can pull the slide back and it solves the problem. But, I'm wondering what the issue is and if there are some thoughts.

    Thanks in advance.

    Welcome to the forum.

The cycling issue is most likely not a firm enough grip or anticipation of recoil.
The trigger is set when ever the slide is racked or the pistol is fired and recoil. If the trigger is squeezed with no round in the chamber it will stay back until the slide is racked. Is this happening during the cycling issues?
