I agree once I bought a plug for one of my Glocks I had to purchase one for the other. Now wait until you change our your sights and then your trigger and so on and on.![]()
I just got it yesterday and put the grip plug in my G23 today, I like the way it made the gun look better. The hole really never bothered me but once I put the plug in it looked nicer to me. Plus it will help keep dirt and debris from getting in and also possibly prevent your gun from getting caught on something having that opening at the bottom of the grip.
I bought it on Amazon for about $8 seems really durable and wont fall out since it snaps into place using the round cut out hole also at the bottom of the grip. Just thought I would share this in case someone here might want one.
I originally went on Amazon to buy a TLR-1s for my new Glock 21also bought a grip plug for it, can't put it in till I can pick up my G21 on Sat.

I will play the devi's advocate. I bought one for my G21 years ago, which was my first Glock. Since then and several Glocks later, I don't see the need or point. It has no functional purpose other than looks, and for that it isn't worth the money (at least my money). I guess if you justify it/ like it, then rock on.
Don't retreat! Reload!!!
That looks like a Pearce grip plug... I use them on my target pistols because they are legal in USPSA's Production class...
They help during reloads... They smooth off the rear area where a magazine can hang up... Makes reloading smoother and faster... Good for practical shooters and carry guns (if you carry an extra magazine)...

Hey RaiderGlockBoy707,
I use them on all of my Glocks although I use the Scherer brand that sticks out slightly and completes the Magazine Extension line for what I believe is a better look... "Same Function Though" (just my opinion)![]()

I use the Pearce grip plug in my 19 and 26. I like em. Looks clean, but other than that I don't think it's necessary.

I have used them in the past,I liked the way they looked. Now I just leave it open. The gap leaves room for your thumb if you have to strip the mag out, plus it allows for debris to fall out from inside the gun.

What's up conquest,
I didnt know they made one that comes down to the magazine it probably would look a lil better. I just happened to come across them while buying a streamlight and said what the heck i'll pick up a couple. Its only $8, shoot I have to pay $10 in toll round trip at times depending where in the Bay Area I work.
Nonetheless im happy with the grip plugs and will put them in on all my Glocks![]()
