Ryno-- the slide was about $400 but it included the milling, sights and internals. I'm happy with it. No quite sure how One Source Tactical gets OEM slides but it seems to function well. I've only used competiton loads. have to try some defensive loads sometime.
Thanks. What holster are you running?

I had a custom holster made for mine. The RMR wasn't the sticking point for off-the-shelf holsters, the issue was the taller front "suppressor" sight.

As for OST... They just lowered their price on milling slides. You can send them your factory Glock slide and they will mill it for an RMR, supply plain suppressor sights and install said sights, then ship it back to you for under $150 total. You supply the RMR.

Or you can buy a complete slide from them already done.

Awesome. Thanks for the info. I think I may need a second job. lol

I'm surprised that Safariland doesn't make holsters for that combo.

I have CompTac OWB holsters for my G34 and G17. Fortunately they both take tall front sights and the RMR doesn't collide with any part of the holster. I haven't looked at IWB options yet. I'm hoping there's a leather/kydex out there.

Ryno-- do you know what you'll up doing with your G34?
    Question your assumptions

I would love to set it up with a RMR or Leupold Deltapoint but I need to make my wife see why it's important enough to spend $900. lol

I think that I would want to get another slide to set up the RMR on so I could go back to stock if need be.

Just took some pictures from a off-hand shooting POV. Couldn't adjust my camera aperture enough to get a better representation but the 7 MOA amber dot during front sight focus is sharper and clearer than what the pic suggests. The backup irons don't cover as much window as I expected so I'm going to keep them on. I find them really helpful.

One more pic with a far-target focus, which also brings the dot into better focus.
