What Walter said. I get to shoot a lot of Glocks as a volunteer Range Worker at a popular Arizona firing range. There is a night and day difference between those with and those without.

I have tried the connectors, the this, the that and I can't say it made much difference except to my pocket book. My wife even bought me the Ultimate Adjustable Trigger for Christmas since it was marked down. I tried it, fiddled with it and to me it does not make much difference. I won't say don't do the mod thing, just think about it, ask others and make your own mind up. BUT I will say if you want to save money or to spend on sights, ext mag release, ext slide release then forget the internal mods. I was in the same place about mods....wanted to try this and that, asked people and most all said to spend the money on bullets to practice with...they were right!

Hey Walter, I do own both a NY1 and NY2 and drop them in occasionally for training. If there's a weakness with trigger control they will absolutely expose it! I got the idea after seeing a Hickok45 video where he mentioned that shooting the heavier revolver triggers had greatly improved his semi-auto shooting.

I'm convinced training with a heavier trigger is intelligent. That said, I only use the NY1 now. The NY2 made my hand cramp!

I agree with training on a revolver / heavier trigger ... I have a J frame with a grip laser which gives me immediate feedback as to how steady/ wobbly that light is as I pull the trigger.

    Pretty dang beneficial.

I replaced the stock triggers in both my 34 and 19 with fully rework units from DK Custom Triggers. The 34 is an IDPA gun only and pulls at 3#, while the 19 is for HD/carry. I used a slightly heavier striker spring in that one and it pulls at 3.5#. Both guns have VERY little takeup and break clean with no overtravel. It wasn't cheap to do, but it made a huge difference in my shooting over what was originally in the gun.

Congratz on your new Glock 19. I agree with other posts that advise to shoot it awhile with the stock trigger. They are very good and I see no reason to change them. I did need to change the trigger on a Beretta, but the trigger was terrible and with the changed trigger, it was no better than my Glocks. The only thing that I Change is the Sights and that is just a preference, not necessary. Good luck.

My Glock is for carry sow I try to keep it stock. But I whose getting a blister on my trigger finger sow I filed down that trigger safety bump. That is my only suggestion on the trigger.

Another tip is to keep the slide locked back for a week to help brake in the recoil spring. Fire or hand cycle it about 500 times will help to. I had occasional problem until I hit the 500rd mark.

I've found Glock's are designed for and like hot loads and may not like low powered bulk packs until broken in.

Congratulations on your new Glock. As others have already stated, keep it stock for now! IMO
