Hi, just bought a Glock 19 gen 5, and I'm looking for ammo that I can break the gun in, get used to how it shoots, etc., but that wont be expensive and could also be reliable in case I begin carrying. I know it's asking for much, but any information would be greatly appreciated! I was reading online and read somewhere that Glock says not to use steal-case ammo, and while looking for cheaper brass ammo I came across Aguila 9mm Luger in 124grain FMJ and 115grain FMJ. Are they any good? How dirty is this type of ammo, and would it be a reliable ammo to conceal carry with? Please let me know, this is my first gun and I can't seem to find a lot on the ammo. Thank you!
Congrats on you G 19 GEN 5. I just purchased my second glock G43X. Finding 9 X 19 mm ammo is a challenge right now. As bad as trying to find toilet paper last spring. Have not heard about Glock not recommending steal case ammo; so like you I have a lot to learn. I will come back to your post as I find information.
My first Glock is a Glock 21. I have had it about 25 years now.
