Thanks. He is a great dog (Rufus). My favorite breed. Well trained and well socialized but, when
daddy is not around, strangers beware lol.


I never allow him around strangers in his own yard. He is very protective until he knows you.

When I had my man cave built, one of those contractor guys (1 out of 7),
for some reason, Rufus did NOT like him. And he let me and him know it.
I had to call him down and demand to stay by me so I could keep an eye on him (dog).

One morning I went outside to talk with them and of course he was with me. That dog went
to that guy he did not like. He hiked his leg and pee'd on his leg.

I was sooo embarrassed. I learned a lesson. Don't let the Rottie near someone he does not like
in his yard. He has NEVER done that in public.

When I had my house inside the loop in Dallas, I use to go to the dog park with him. No issues.
Very social-able and liked the other peeps and dogs. Never a issue. Take him out on the boat with others in the
the boat. He likes everyone. Lots of peeps at the marina too. No issue.

I've never been able to figure out why he did that unless there was already dog pee on the guy LOL.
