That's nice but ETS has even larger capacity mags for both and at a lower cost.

Gaz, are the ets mags flush with the grip? I believe the S15 mag is steel and flush.

That could explain the price difference. But I'm not sure if the ETS 15 round mag is flush fit.

No the ETS is not a flush fit, but the S/A is metal and they recommend changing out the mag release to a metal one.

The way I understand things, if you go with a steel 15rd mag, you need to replace the stock mag release for an aftermarket metal one. Would it be possible that the metal mag release then damages the stock 10rd mags during recoil? I think I'd go with one or two backup ETS and not have to change anything or be concerned about damage to stock mags.

My son bought one and has been testing it. He said so far he has over 2k rounds through it with no malfunctions. When he bought his, the metal mag release was included. He had already bought one in anticipation that he would need one and gave it to me. Hint hint, dad needs to buy one too.

If I do, I’ll probably get two. One for carry and a back-up.

I have 8 SA 15 round mags with 500 rounds of a mixture of brands and types of 9mm without a problem. I did install the SA mag release.
