Are you using a full resizing die ? 9mm headspaces on the case size of the rimmed end so they must be resized all the way to the rim.
Oh and welcome to the wonder world of reloading !

After being helped by a club member I’ve finally punched out my first 200 9mm reloads. Monday will be test day.
Tried each one in the barrel to make sure none had swelled. Had 5 that were tight at the primer end , so reclaimed the projectile and powder & will dumb the casing after I find out what to do with the primers.
Enjoying the cleaning and oiling side and now the reloading.
Just have a lot of skills to improve for IPSC.
But most of all having a great time wish I’d done this years ago.

Congratulations! Shooting ammunition you loaded yourself is very satisfying!
EGW makes an undersized sizing die that is slightly undersized and also sizes the case further down... They're pretty much the standard for reloading 9mm... I've used them for years... and they're only $29...

Hi otintx, It does resize them but fully I’m not sure. Something I need to look further into.
Looking forward to tomorrow & giving them a try
Thanks __jb excited and a bit nervous about using them tomorrow but all should be good as I’m following recommendations from other members.
And cheers I’ll check the sizing did out
I have a Ruger P model 9mm, and when I first started reloading, the ones that were too big to work in other 9mm's fed and cycled in the Ruger.
My do overs were at a minimum with that option ....

Shot 100 of the reloads today was a bit nervous but everything went great. No jamming or anything.
Back in the shed tomorrow to the production line going.
Barrel looked clean but it got a good clean out though
I have heard even a bad day at the range beats any day at work !
Glad you had a good go round with it.

I have 2 Square Deal B's and think they are great. The pistol dies for the Square Deal are unique to the Square Deal, after markets dies don't work. This is different than the higher end Dillon models that do necked brass as well as straight walled. They fully resize unless the press is not set up properly. Dillon's service is top notch and the web site has a forum you can search or just call them if you need any help.
