Interesting... First I've heard of this...

They don't really show how you sync the target hits to the phone app...

It bluetooth's to their app on the phone but I couldn't tell if there was a small lens in the unit or not. Unless you need to use their specified target.

Or because you set up the phone on a stand so the phone's camera views the target for shot placement and the unit just tracks pistol movement.

Each shot is scored depending on how much you moved away from your sighted position during the trigger pull.
I think if you aimed at the upper right hand corner of the target but didn’t move during the shot break, it would show a bulls eye. It looks as though it builds the target based on how the gun behaved (how far and which direction) during the shot break (from the moment the gun came the closest to stopped until recoil).

The directions give no indication of a camera or using the camera on a phone. I think it’s purely based on gyroscope.

I’ve been wanting one of these for over a year now but kept trying to find a “deal”. The feedback from dry fire with the SIRT/LASR software has made such a difference in my shooting that I’d love to get similar feedback from live fire.

I just saw in the FAQ they require dealers to maintain a price point so I now wish I’d just bought one. Still saving money for the rifle but may spend a little on a Mantis after I’ve paid for the suppressor.
