    Glock 34 for Tactical Classes

Hi. Can someone share his/her experience with the Glock 34 as used in Tactical Classes? Common view is G17 is for Tactical and
    G34 is for Competition.
And "if i could only have one" points to the Glock 17.
Thanks for all of your response about G34 for Tactical Classes.

Glock originally called the 34 and 35 “tactical/practical”. They claimed multipurpose of home defense, duty pistol and competition. Many are still deployed by tactical units.

There’s a lot of 19s used by LE and tactical units they like the lighter weight. This eventually led to the 45 (19 slide w/17 frame). The 19 is really considered the “do all” gun. The one people choose if they could “only have one”

My personal favorite though will always be the 17. And since I am not limited to just one gun I own lots of them. I like it’s balance better than the 34 (I’m sure that’s a personal preference) and the grip size better than the 19.

I'm here to stick up for the 19 for EDC.
As Mt mentioned it's personal preference. For me, I point and shoot the 19 more accurately with less effort that the 17 and 22 I own. I also have a 43 for EDC for the warmer times of the year.

The 34 is great for competition or as a house gun...

17 or 19 is best, most common, for carry...
